Pascual knew she had a knack for makeup when all of her friends constantly asked her for touch-ups. After her initial gig and the music video with el Puma, she took a course at the Berry Berger Institute in North Miami and learned makeup techniques for film, TV and photo.
''You have to know what part light plays in a production, what camera angles are going to be used and how the products work when you study makeup, film and technique,'' said Pascual, who also graduated from FIU with a bachelor's degree in apparel manufacturing.
Pascual likes to keep makeup simple. ''I am of the school of less is more,'' she said. She thinks people use makeup as a security blanket and only goes all out when the production calls for it
