For example, there are current implications that suggest educational background may no longer be the most important category to be nominated as the people's representative since many feel it does not provide any guarantee that people's aspirations will be conveyed. Others prefer familiar faces rather than their qualities. These are definitely superficial reasoning which may create blunder for future success.
Hence, the Indonesian artists should not take the blame for their election poll victories since it was the political parties that recruited them and made them party mascots in the first place.
However, a large portion of the blame would go to the Indonesian voters should they elect these artists into a prominent position in the future without knowing their quality outside the camera.
Last but not least, if we have managed to drag our future ambassadors to take the fit and proper test before the House of Representatives to determine whether they are eligible or not for the position, then why should these highway political artists be any different?
