Actor MICKEY ROURKE has issued a hasty apology after he was caught on camera calling a unknown journalist a 'fgot'.
Rourke was filmed making the obscene comment as he walked into Los Angeles' Hyde nightclub on Monday (10Nov08).
After he was questioned about his reported romance with his The Wrestler co-star Evan Rachel Wood, who recently split from boyfriend Marilyn Manson, Rourke said, 'She's a good friend, that's it... Tell that fgot who wrote all that st in the paper I'd like to break his fking legs.'
But the movie tough guy was quick to issue an apology following the incident.
He says, 'I want to sincerely apologise for the derogatory word I used. It was insensitive and inappropriate of me and I am deeply sorry that I may have offended anyone.'
