Delaware state police are looking for a person who attacked a bus driver in New Castle.The incident was caught on camera on October 28. Slideshow: Images From Attack Police describe the suspect as a black male or female, 25-30 years old, large build, round face, wearing a black jacket with white stripes on arms of the coat and having curly hairTroopers were called to New Castle Avenue and Memorial Drive when they got the report of a DART bus driver being assaulted by a patron.The driver said the suspect continually rung the signal bell advising the bus driver to stop the bus.The driver stopped the bus each time the bell was rung, but no one exited the bus.Finally, the bus driver asked the suspect to get off. The suspect then assaulted the bus driver twice, using an umbrella in one of the attacksThe bus driver did not require medical attention.Anyone who may recognize the suspect is asked to call 302-834-2620 ext 531.
